FAQ & troubleshooting
Short answers to the questions that come up most, and what to do when something looks wrong.
A balance looks wrong
Open the learner's Finance tab and turn on Show voided entries. The balance is exactly the sum of the non-voided rows with the formula from Finance ledger. Tap a row and open Audit trail to see every edit with its reason. If an enrollment card shows an amount that does not match the rows, edit any row of that enrollment (even without changes) to force a recompute.
A learner cannot be enrolled
Either the class is full (raise the capacity or cancel an enrollment) or the learner already has an active enrollment in that class. Cancelled and completed enrollments do not block a new one.
The attendance alert fires on a day the class does not meet
The alert follows the class's weekly schedule slots; edit the class and correct the slots.
The credit chip says "finished" but the learner has paid
Credits count sessions, not money. Raise the enrollment's session credits from Edit enrollment on the learner's Enrollments tab.
I switched language and old ledger rows show keys like tx_invoice_title
That only happens with rows from very old app versions. Editing the row (any change, with a reason) refreshes it.
Form submissions fail with "forbidden" on the web
The ORIGIN variable does not match the address in the browser. Set it to the exact public URL, including https://, and redeploy.
Can I run two academies?
Deploy two containers with two volumes (web) or use two devices (app). Data is intentionally not multi-tenant.
How do I get help?
The repository issue tracker, or your AAA IT contact. Include the lines from Settings → Application log when reporting a number that looks wrong.
